SMIMS Technology Corporation was established in October 2004. We were able to commercialize years of research with help from both the academic and industrial field. In November 2004, Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Technology Research Institute reviewed and approved SMIMS to be listed as a burgeoning industry. In December of the same year, SMIMS was stationed at the “Southern Taiwan Innovation and Research Park”. At SMIMS, we believe in “concerted operation with distributed management”. The board of directors and department heads formed a “Management Committee”. An overall business objective was determined and every department works mutually towards that goal. SMIMS focuses our Research and Development capabilities into new products and technologies to provide corresponding solutions to industrial obstacles. We offer to help clients increase market competitiveness by shortening their development process and reducing development costs. Our focal clients include: semiconductor design companies, integrated device manufacturing companies, and semiconductor wafer plants. |
